The Lagos South Battalion of the Boys Brigade has truly raised the bar. We embrace digital transformation. This sets a new standard for the Boys Brigade in Lagos State, Nigeria and beyond. We didn’t just dip our toes into the digital world. We dove in headfirst. We are now the Digital Battalion. We fully embrace innovation and adapt to the 21st century. We are achieving a series of impressive “firsts” that are changing the game.

Making History, Digitally

In a groundbreaking move, the battalion became the first council to hold its elections online. This wasn’t just a convenient change. It powerfully demonstrated their commitment to transparency and accessibility. This ensured every member had a chance to participate in shaping the battalion’s future.

Leading the Digital Charge

But online elections were just the beginning. The Lagos South Battalion has been busy building a robust digital foundation, including:

  • A Brand-New Website: The battalion unveiled a comprehensive website, serving as a central hub for all things Lagos South Battalion. Packed with news, updates, and resources, it ensures members can stay connected and informed.
  • An E-Library for Officers: Recognizing the importance of officer development, they created an e-library. This gives officers access to a wealth of training materials and resources.   • A Hybrid AGM: The battalion successfully conducted a hybrid Annual General Meeting (AGM). This approach allowed members to participate both physically and virtually. This inclusive approach ensured maximum participation and engagement.
  • Lagos South School of Technology (Coming soon): This will enable boys and officers to learn digital skills. They will learn areas such as software engineering, design, AI & Data science, among others.
